It’s true, a new kitchen can change your life

In something of a role reversal, Jeremy rather than his wife Jo was the driving force behind this kitchen transformation. He knew exactly what he wanted, "Clean lines and I had to get rid of the horrible mustard and blue colour scheme", was how he described the brief to Fiona, the Kitchen Studio designer. As for Jo, she wanted a kitchen that wasn't just aesthetically pleasing, but functionality, a kitchen that worked, was the most desirable thing for her.

When asked what she disliked most about her old kitchen, Jo reeled off a long list of issues that made the kitchen, a place to avoid. Jo confessed that before their new kitchen was installed, she, Jeremy and their kids would sit and eat their meals, in front of the TV with their plate on their lap. The new kitchen has literally changed everything, Jo described their new kitchen as life-changing. The whole family spend more time in the kitchen, and Jo has become an inspired chef, while she creates, the kids sit at the bench-top with their iPad and actually have conversations.

Jo went on to say; she couldn't believe how their new kitchen has brought them closer together as a family. When Jeremy was asked, what impressed him the most about the kitchen, he described the Kitchen Studio design and installation process as incredibly smooth with no hassle. Even more impressive, he said, was Jo's cooking. "I get much better food now", thankfully Jo laughed.
