The house with lovely views of the sea in Nelson was bought as their retirement home, with the refurbishment meant to be a project for Tim. But when they looked at the tired old kitchen they decided they couldn't live with it any longer.

As an engineer Tim says he appreciates the design and quality of Kitchen Studio kitchens. He also described the whole process as simple and painless.

Alice simply loves her new kitchen and the fact it is clean and white. The old myth that a white kitchen with white bench tops would be too cold and clinical, is immediately dispelled when seeing what Kitchen Studio have created for Alice and Tim.

The most common reaction from visitors who see the kitchen is "Wow"!
Especially from people who saw the kitchen before the renovation.

Tim's response is a little more measured, in describing the kitchen he says, "I like it". Then being a pragmatic engineer tells us that he knows he could probably have got a cheaper kitchen and done the job himself, but they would have missed out on the design and expertise of Kitchen Studio.

Alice is more passionate and says, "It blows my mind that I can have a kitchen as beautiful as this".
