Chris is an enthusiastic, outgoing, passionate, and proactive person who brings to his Kitchen Studio clients over 20 years’ experience as an executive chef in the hospitality industry. Chris has designed and worked in several commercial kitchens in his time but made the decision to move into residential kitchen design where he could apply his creative and artistic nature in an environment where he gets to directly inspire and help others.

Chris knows the importance of taking the time to really get to know you and your needs. His friendly outgoing personality gives him this unique ability to ask the right questions. He is a designer who is highly empathic, who will listen intently, and will guide you through the process in a direction that is personal to you and your project.

I am sure it is no surprise when we tell you Chris is a mad keen foodie. During his down time Chris enjoys spending his time cooking, tending to his vegetable garden, fishing, and diving. With his kids now young adults, Chris and his wife reside in Upper Hutt with their beloved two cats. They try to get out into nature as often as they can enjoying camping and 4-wheel driving.
