Timeless Contrast

This Kitchen was one part of a full home renovation these clients were undertaking. We discussed the key things that we wanted to achieve in this space, which was Functionality, Optimal Storage and a well contrasted but balanced colour palette. All these key concepts were achieved.

Creating a well thought out layout was key in making sure this space flowed. A galley style kitchen with a separate pantry area worked best for what the clients wanted and what the room allowed us to do. We achieved adequate bench space either side of the sink and the hob, as well as more than enough storage for this 3-bedroom home. Enforcing distinct work zones makes this an incredibly functional space that’s easy to work in and ‘makes sense’.

Creating a functional kitchen was the main goal in this design process, however the look of the space was just as important to the clients. We paired black and white cabinetry to create the heavy contrast we were aiming for. We added some pops of wood to soften the look of the kitchen but also incorporate it to the aesthetics of the rest of the house.
Overall, this Kitchen ticked all the clients boxes, Met the brief and provided an exceptional kitchen to work in.
