What is the average cost of a new kitchen?
At Kitchen Studio, we've created kitchens that range in price from under $30,000 to well over $100,000. Every client is different, and every kitchen is unique. A general guide would be to work on 8% of the value of your house (excluding land). Product selection has a big impact on budgets, and your designer will be the best person to discuss this with.

What exactly does Kitchen Studio offer?
Kitchen Studio is a full service company which means you can rely on us to design your new kitchen exactly as you want it, and then supply and fit all cabinets, components and if appropriate, appliances. When you choose Kitchen Studio you can relax knowing we are with you every step of the way.
What if I just want to replace my doors or repaint, do you offer this?
If you want to refresh your kitchen, then a part-kitchen or a simple repaint might be the answer. However, this can be a false economy, and end up costing you more, it all depends on what you need. Your local Kitchen Studio can advise.
If I have a design consultation, can I keep the designs?
The designs become yours once you commit to working with us.
Another company gave us a cheaper quote, why are you more expensive?
Kitchen Studio offers a premium service and superior quality, it is highly unlikely that we would be beaten on price for exactly the same quality of kitchen.
Where are your kitchens manufactured?
Where we can we source our products within New Zealand. For example the cabinetry is made in NZ with sustainably grown NZ timber. Other components such as tapware and hinges are engineered in Europe.
How good is your guarantee and what does it cover?
Our Total Trust Guarantee, protects your investment for a minimum of 10 years. While some components in your new kitchen carry a Lifetime Guarantee. A unique aspect of the Kitchen Studio guarantee is it can be transferred to the new owner should you sell your home.
How do I know if my deposit is safe?
For complete peace of mind there's the Total Trust Deposit Guarantee. Which means your money is safe no matter what. No other kitchen company offers such important financial protection.
How long does the process take and is there much disruption during installation?
On average the process from first design consultation to finished installation, can take up to 8 weeks. Some disruption is inevitable, a kitchen renovation is a complex process and while we avoid as much disruption as possible, expect to be without a functioning kitchen for a couple of days.
