Showered in Luxury

“Showered In Luxury” is an ensuite that embodies refined simplicity, where material integrity and thoughtful detailing create a space that feels both indulgent and enduring. The design centres on the use of Dekton Sabia by Cosentino, selected for its warm, natural tone and superior durability. Its availability in large-format slabs allowed the vanity top, shower walls, recessed shelf, and shower base to be executed in a consistent finish, delivering a seamless and luxurious aesthetic.

The scale of the slabs was integral to the design outcome. Within the shower, a single panel runs from floor to niche, and another from niche to ceiling, significantly reducing grout lines. The custom one-piece shower base eliminates joints underfoot, enhancing both visual continuity and ease of maintenance. Similarly, the integrated vanity top and basin were fabricated as one piece, removing cleaning lines and reinforcing the minimalist intent.

Cabinetry was carefully colour-matched to blend with the surrounding surfaces, creating a calm and cohesive envelope. This restrained backdrop allows the brushed anthracite handles, towel rails, and tapware to introduce depth and understated richness, subtly referencing the window and joinery tones for a unified composition.

Functionality was equally considered. The floating two-drawer vanity incorporates an internal drawer system, providing generous and practical storage for both tall bottles and smaller daily essentials. Every element was selected to ensure the space remains clutter-free, easy to maintain, and resilient to daily wear.

The result is a timeless ensuite that balances luxury with practicality—where material consistency, minimal detailing, and purposeful storage define a sophisticated and enduring retreat.
