Landing on a Star

This client wanted a truly exceptional kitchen, something unforgettable and unlike anything they had seen before - while working within the constraints of the existing layout, including retaining the bulkhead and window positions.

A colour palette of pink and beige was central to the vision, reflected throughout the cabinetry. While the tones are soft, the client also wanted the design to incorporate texture, contrast, and a sense of drama to elevate the overall aesthetic.

A durable natural stone benchtop was a non-negotiable element, ensuring both longevity and performance. While the existing waste system was functional and the client preferred not to include a new bin solution, consideration was given to integrating one subtly for future resale value.

Increasing storage was a key priority, along with improving functionality—particularly within corner spaces—and incorporating a wall oven for greater convenience.

Ease of cleaning was essential across all elements of the design. The client also specified a gas cooktop, with the added requirement that it be simple to maintain and clean.
