My clients wanted to reflect the rural location of their home with their new kitchen and wanted
something classic and timeless. They wanted to keep the kitchen light and bright with both the
cabinetry and bench top colours but add interest with green accent cabinetry to reflect their
surroundings.
Their priority was to create functional storage that maximised the space available as well as
increasing the usable bench area. They prefer on bench appliances to be hidden away out of sight
and servo bins after having them in their previous kitchen. They wanted to avoid having open shelving or glass door units.
The sink needed to be at least a one and a half, if not a full double size, and remain located in front
of the window to make the most of the view out to the garden and work with the existing plumbing
location. The oven and microwave were to be located within a tower set up to provide easier access
as well as provide space for drawers below the hob
