The client wanted a traditional, timeless kitchen that complemented their character home. The design needed to be simple and practical, while incorporating subtle traditional features with a minimalist approach.

A classic black-and-white colour palette was selected as the perfect foundation for the space. The warmth of the Feather White cabinetry was chosen to complement the rich, original wooden floors.

Granite stone was selected for the benchtops, as it provides unparalleled texture and depth compared to engineered stone options.

Archant Meano handles were chosen for their distinctive character, offering a blend of charm and strength. To prevent the space from feeling overly busy, the upper cabinets were designed without handles.

Dezignatek thermally wrapped cabinetry was used for its durability. The Rhonda profile was selected to introduce traditional charm while still aligning with the client’s minimalist aesthetic.

The main working area of the kitchen was positioned along the back wall, allowing the island to remain open and uncluttered. This layout also creates a secondary, casual dining space.
