This client's original kitchen felt dated, with blue and yellow finishes that no longer suited the home. To improve both style and function, the adjoining laundry was reworked into a combined scullery/laundry, achieved by removing the exterior door and closing in windows to create additional tall storage.
A new window was positioned above the hob to maximise views of the garden, while a servery-style benchtop was added outside the sliding window behind the sink to enhance indoor-outdoor flow. These changes ensure the kitchen feels more connected to its surroundings.
Garden views were a key priority throughout the redesign, particularly from the island, allowing the space to feel open, light, and perfectly suited to both everyday living and relaxed entertaining.
