A change for the better

The kitchen’s design required meticulous planning and thoughtful execution to ensure it complemented the home’s overall aesthetic while serving as a stunning centerpiece for entertaining.

After completing the renovation of their home, the clients chose to leave the kitchen as the final piece of the puzzle. This phase involved relocating the hot water cylinder, removing existing windows, and installing a large bifold door to improve the connection to the outdoors.

The design incorporated slim stone benchtops with a negative edge, creating a sleek, modern profile. A crisp white and warm wood-toned palette brought a sense of balance and sophistication, while clean lines and minimal hardware enhanced the contemporary feel.

A contrasting dark benchtop added visual interest. A dedicated wine fridge area was positioned near the outdoor deck to facilitate effortless entertaining, seamlessly blending into the overall layout.

Integrated appliances maintained a streamlined appearance, and timber slats in the bar area echoed the white slatted panels on the back of the island, tying the design together with a cohesive and stylish finish.
