Design Brief
The client spends extended time overseas and wanted a haven in New Zealand to return to. The entire house was under scrutiny with the kitchen tagged to be modernised.
The layout was improved by stacking the combi and standard ovens on the other side of the kitchen, alongside the spacetower and fridge. This change freed-up space for storage of spices, oils, and cooking utensils needed under the gas cooktop. An Insinkerator MultiTap was specified for convenience when making hot drinks and cooking.
Tip-On solutions were specified for opening of all cabinetry. The handle-less function delivered on the desired sleek and modern aesthetic. Prime Acrylic Greywacke cabinetry and the 20mm Dekton Trilium benchtop with waterfall provided a sophisticated and functional combination. Both products were chosen for their durable qualities. The muted colours enhanced the mood and compliment the displayed travel memorabilia. The Bronze mirrored splashback gave interest and widens the space.

The informal seating offers a warm social space to enjoy a morning coffee or evening beverage. The neighbouring on-bench pantry stores small appliances and breakfast items. Glasses and beverages are easily reached from floating shelves and under-bench storage conveniently located near the dining room entrance.
